RV installs go wrong in the same places: the alternator charges the house bank with no profile, the inverter is wired before the fuse, and the pack is stored flat over winter.
Charging: alternator, solar, shore power
Every source has to speak lithium.
A DC-DC charger or a lithium-aware regulator protects the alternator; solar controllers need a lithium profile; the converter has to match the pack voltage. Get those three right before adding capacity.

Installation and wiring
Fuses, cable sizes and the inverter feed.
Fuse at the battery terminal, size the inverter cable for the surge rather than the continuous load, and keep the BMS accessible for monitoring.
Winter storage and cold weather
Cold costs capacity, not life — unless you store it flat.
Lithium can be charged below freezing only with a heating pad or a self-heating pack. For winter, charge to roughly half, disconnect, and avoid leaving the pack at 0%.

RV battery questions
The questions that come before an order.
How many amp-hours does an RV house bank need?
Add your nightly loads in amp-hours, decide how much solar replaces them, and keep a margin. Lithium gives roughly twice the usable capacity of the same AGM rating, so the number you need is smaller.
Can I replace AGM batteries with lithium?
Yes, but the charging system has to follow: converter profile, solar controller profile, and either a DC-DC charger or a lithium-aware alternator regulator.
Will lithium charge from the alternator while driving?
Only through a DC-DC charger or a lithium-aware regulator. Direct alternator charging without one is what kills alternators on RV conversions.
Does cold weather damage an RV lithium battery?
Cold reduces available capacity but does not damage the cells. Charging below freezing does, unless the pack has a heater — some of ours do, and the BMS blocks charge when it is unsafe.
How do I store an RV battery over winter?
Charge to around half, disconnect the bank, and avoid leaving it discharged. Check the BMS log when you bring it back into service.
